• In 1963, Pacific Milk Industries (Malaya) Sdn Bhd (now Dutch Lady Malaysia) was set up, producing sweetened condensed milk in our present factory in Petaling Jaya.
  • We became the first overseas production operations for the Group. We started UHT production in 1975.
  • In 1988, we were the first in the world to introduce formulated milk powder for children.
  • In 1999, we won the first of nine Reader’s Digest Superbrands Gold Award for the Preferred Brand of Milk Products in Malaysia.
  • We were the first company to introduce World Milk Day (WMD), an annual celebration started since 2007. For WMD 2010, we received Malaysia Book of Records for the Largest Milk Drinking event.
  • In 2008, we set up the award-winning Dairy Development Programme (DDP) together with the Department of Veterinary Service (DVS) Malaysia and the Netherlands Embassy to help local dairy farmers make their business more sustainable.
  • As one of the milk distributors in the national school milk programme, Program Susu Sekolah 1 Malaysia (PS1M), we provide milk to school children in Kelantan and Terengganu.
  • In 2011, we won the Advertiser of the Year Award at the Malaysian Media Awards. Subsequently, we won the same award in 2012 and 2014.

  • In 2013, we celebrated our 50th year anniversary in Malaysia.
  • In 2013, Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad clinched the National Safety Award from the Department of Health & Safety, Ministry of Human Resources in conjunction with the National Occupational Health & Safety 2013 event.
  • In 2014, DLMI was awarded the Best Performing Stock (Highest returns to Shareholders) over three consecutive years among listed company with market capitalisation more than RM1bil.
  • DLMI was awarded the Company of the Year 2014 award by The Edge Billion Ringgit Club, ahead of 177 other companies who are part of the Billion Ringgit Club.
  • In 2014, Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad won the Gold Award in the Putra Brand Awards 2014 in the category of Beverage-Dairy.
