Our Halal commitment

Dutch Lady Malaysia’s products are certified Halal by the Halal Hub Division of the Department of Islamic Development, Malaysia (JAKIM) and the relevant recognised Foreign Halal Certification Bodies and Authorities.

Our manufacturing processes reflect an understanding that Halal food and drinks are important to every Muslim consumer.

Dutch Lady Malaysia is deeply committed to upholding these standards of Halal and to preserving customer confidence in every item that leaves the Dutch Lady Malaysia plant. As a Halal dairy products manufacturer, our production facilities are subject to regular routine, comprehensive site visits by JAKIM enforcement officers.

Every local Dutch Lady product bears the official JAKIM Halal logo. Imported Dutch Lady products are certified Halal by the respective country of origin’s Halal Certification Bodies recognised by JAKIM.

Beyond certifying the product’s Halal status, this logo assures consumers that we at Dutch Lady Malaysia adhere to strict hygienic practices, from the hygiene of personnel and processing to transportation and storage.

This affirms the brand’s longstanding good reputation in a discerning and competitive market.

Halal Policy

We recognise that maintaining the trust and confidence of our stakeholder is crucial. One of the ways we intend to merit this trust is by conducting ourselves according to the principles and standards stated in our Halal Policy:

“Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad and all its employees are committed to providing Halal products to its consumers by adhering to the Halal requirements which set high standards for hygiene, quality, safety and sanitary conditions.

Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad has an Internal Halal Committee responsible for all matters pertaining to Halal.

We are committed to manufacture, import and distribute products which are in compliance with the requirements of JAKIM or other authorised Islamic certification bodies.

As a JAKIM accredited ‘HALAL’ premise, we comply to the following requirements:

  • Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Good Hygiene Practices
  • Abide by Halal Requirement for Foods Within the Company Premises”
